Northern Wasatch Front - Skywatch Friday

As I am out and about birding in West Weber and Davis Counties in Northern Utah, I am stunned by this sight so I just had to stop and take a picture of the Wasatch Front Mountains.  A layer of low clouds obscure the base of the mountains. This photo has one looking East directly towards Weber Canyon. Ogden, UT is nestled at the base of the mountain on the left with Snowbasin Ski Resort and Mountain Green, UT on the backside; and nestled at the base of the mountain on the right is Layton and Fruit Heights, UT.

Thanks for stopping by My Mountain Green!

I often have to stop on my way to and from work to capture a sunrise or sunset. It's always worth the effort. Very nice capture. Happy Skywatching and have a blessed week-end.

The low clouds almost look like a snow bank. Beautiful!
