Tranquil Trekking

Beautiful day to be alone in my thoughts!
After an hours hike from my house in Mountain Green, Utah, I turn to take in the view. Amazing, isn't it? I am facing South East looking over Morgan Valley. Not a sound could be heard nor did I see any moose, deer or fox. While there were many prints in the snow, mine were the only human ones.

Kathryn, if it wasn't all snow it would be beautiful! ;-) Actually, it is anyways and it looks very serene!

Snowshoeing one of my passions!!
Love your photo of your tracks in the snow.
Here in Maine we have lots of snow, and I go out snowshoeing at least 3 times a week, and as you said the silence is amazing!!

Grammie g, thanks for stopping by. We had over 2 feet of new snow Saturday into Sunday. Snowshoeing has become a passion for me as well.

Kat this picture is very nice - your footprints have even a philosophical meaning: the endless walking in this life, the endless search for all the things that can makes us better beings, the principles we follow step by step... Its enchanting! I love your blog: for me that belong to another country is really marvellous to see all this snow and share your insights - thx a lot for sharing with us - is a delight to see :)

Roy, thanks for making me smile! I promise I am not a giant with big ugly feet, just little me with snowshoes.

How fun! And beautiful views, too. I've always wanted to learn how to snowshoe ever since I learned how to x-country ski years ago.
It's the perfect way to get outside for a hike in the winter. :)
