Not My Mountain Green!

Brazilian Parque Nacional for Foz do Iguaçu

As you can see from the caption above, this photo is not in Utah!  My husband and I have just returned from a 6 week trip to South America touring parts of Brazil, Argentina and Chile. What a trip of a lifetime!  We blogged our way along to show our friends and family just a small portion of what we experienced.  Now back to stark reality of work and real life as well as exhaustion, we still have to complete our last few posts.  I invite you to take a glimpse at our adventure, check out our "Forty Days & Forty Nights in South America" travel blog.

When I first saw the photo I thought you had just experienced a lightning quick 'Thaw' Kathryn.

Wow what an adventure with lots of interesting reading and images as well. Thanks.

I admire your minimalist packing, we would struggle for one night away with that amount.

You would have heard Nigel Farage speak, he is a straight talking man that does speak a lot of sense.

Roy, glad you enjoyed the travel blog. I really enjoyed meeting and listening to Nigel Farage. We had several opportunities to listen to him as he not only spoke about the European economy & currency issues, but was on a couple of panel discussions on world economies as well. Yes, he is a straight shooter. Very intelligent and humorous at the same time.

Friends of ours who had recently been on a long trip to Australia & New Zealand advised us to take half the clothes we think we need. Good advise; however, I would have liked to have taken another base layer shirt. All the clothes we took were easily washed by hand and the fabric was designed to dry quickly. Minimalist packing saved us a lot of time at the airports and bus stations for sure.

Impressive photo Kathryn. The reality must be almost overwhelming and not soon forgotten! I'm so glad you were able to make this trip. I don't know if I could be a minimalist!
